Today, the enthusiasm was palpable as over 100 children poured on to the field as Hidden Oak Elementary relaunched their Morning Mile program for the year. The kids gathered at the gate with what seemed like a colossal amount of ants in their pants and hit the field as though a starting gun had fired once given the cue to “go”. Amazing. Last week these kids didn’t run a mile. Today, they collectively ran hundreds. Oh – what the Morning Mile can do! Go Owls! Enjoy the slideshow.
