  2. Please be sure to add Lupin Hill Elementary (California) to the list of Morning Mile schools. Thanks!

  3. Please add Palm Bay Elementary (Palm Bay, FL) to the list. I was unable to find the application under the apply for a starter kit link. Thanks!

  4. Please add Apollo Beach Elementary to the list of Morning Mile schools…going on 3 years now! 🙂

  5. I would love to start the path to getting morning mile at my daughter’s school. She attended Talbot Ele. in Gainesville K-3rd and now she attends Crystal Springs Ele. in Jacksonville. She loved running every morning. She was more alert in class and enjoyed the fresh air and scenery during her runs. She accomplished goals she set for herself and was so proud when they were attained. I would like all kids to have the chance to experience this. I have some sponsors in mind that I’m going to talk with. Please send me any information. I filled out the online form but it only had the reset button like another user had said. Thank you!! AB

  6. We’re a morning mile school but haven’t received the guide book? Thanks.

  8. I recently heard about Morning Mile at the Southern District SHAPE America conference in Atlanta last week. I wanted to follow up with you regarding a potential opportunity for you to share your resources with our elementary schools across the state of Georgia. I am currently leading the Power Up for 30 statewide initiative in Georgia that is encouraging schools to incorporate more physical activity into the school day.

Through participating in Power Up for 30, Georgia elementary schools receive an electronic Resource Guide highlighting proven and effective K-5th grade physical activity resources. These materials help elementary school teams and leaders increase physical activity before, during, and after school for students, school staff, and families. If you feel that any of your resources which specifically increase opportunities for physical activity during the school day would be applicable to this initiative, please consider applying to be one of our “Power Up for 30 Champions”.

To take advantage of this unique opportunity to promote your K-5 physical activity resource(s) in Georgia, please submit an online application here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/powerupchampapp

Thanks for considering, and we would love to include you in the resources for our schools!

  9. I am the VP of our school’s PTO and I am trying to help revamp our school’s Morning Mile program. Last year’s volunteer took all of the “materials” and we can’t seem to get them back. Where can I get the catalog for the sneaker charms, or other charms? If you can send me one, we would appreciated it!

  10. Keep the great work for kids, Morning Mile
